Strak: A heavyset man, Strak has a sour disposition and a heavy dose of cynicism.  Aboard Brian’s freighter, he manages cargo loading and handling, as well as keeping an eye on the crew.

Strak is loud and brash, he often seems to overshadow Brian, but no one can miss the fact that he unhesitatingly defers to his boss.  He has a deep distrust of Guard Fleet and a heavy dose of disdain for Guard Army.
