Giles: Giles Smith is a pirate in the employ of Guard Free Now.  A recent recruit to the terrorist organization, he’s worked as a pirate in a number of positions traced back to his entry into the Star Guard’s criminal database in the Evistar Sector.

Despite being caught twice, he’s managed to avoid prosecution, generally by being willing to testify against his former companions.  Grossly overweight, he is often underestimated by his fellow pirates, who give him scutt work and mostly ignore him.

Giles has recently agreed to help Bob Walker in exchange for immunity from prosecution by whatever organization the agent works for.  Giles is obviously terrified that his fellow pirates will realize that he’s betrayed them and he frequently suffers panic attacks.
